Alex Dionisio Top form again from the Philadelphia prodigy. Growth is evident from debut LP (Acid Rain--also a gem) and with awesome guests to boot. Incredible!

[Verse 1: Savan DePaul] Simplicity, the new golden standard The new holy grail I attempted the concept of complexity to no avail Life being the cruel bitch i attempted to knock up Variety was her spice, but it poisoned the potluck Maybe i should slowly reel myself back And enjoy what’s straightforward Can we all feel that? All this irregular scheduling and hell that’s nestled in Devil’s breast tissue Causing endless contesting of negligence But stop that.... [Bridge: James Hooper] The gentle breeze The sun and the sky Oh my The day feels so right in paradise Can you [Verse 2: Savan DePaul] Let’s regress to when rhymes didn’t billow forth in ornate sophisticated double time structured rhymes I won't try Brother, why? Why? Because we need a break from the intricate Longing for simplicity is something I profess Homosapiens should strive for a littles less Just opinion, no need for pretense How about a true need for plain routine And escape from abstruse beings that degrade me Presenting Dr. Deep End, PhD PhD PhD [Hook 1: Savan DePaul] Balance between facile and abstruse shit Either way it’s entropy if straightforward or convoluted Balance out all of this music Now Hooper can write on the page for my amusement [Hook 1: James Hooper] Balance between facile and abstruse shit It’s entropy if straightforward or convoluted Balance out all of this music Now Deep End can write onto this page for my amusement [Verse 3: James Hooper] Girls catching my vibe They strong on my arm And happiness flows through me Stuck in my ways And I am on Traveling around the world Traveling around the world So much to see Somewhere to go Places to live Chances to grow It all sounds easy to me [Hook 2: James Hooper] Easy to me, oh Easy to me, oh Easy to me, oh And it all sounds easy to me, oh Easy to me, oh Ay Yeahhhh, yeaaahhhhh [Verse 4: Remo PM] Think back, late fall Fugees records spinning like a eight ball. Ain’t all right all the the time But “brrrrr” take call off the line Thank all of you for the great time Pains - I wish I’d take mine with grace I heard you through the grape vine Had a long day, you’d know that’d make mine Better when you’d walk home with me Then I’d shake climb the walls When you not with me Played calm iffy Create songs, gritty Ponder if you were the one, had fun like "is she"? Or not? A scary thought that’d cross at all hours I ought To just relish these moments before their lost But I told you I was running down hill and I can’t stop Can’t slow down can’t stay still But I’ll work on it A little… [Hook 2: James Hooper] (2x) Easy to me, oh Easy to me, oh Easy to me, oh And it all sounds easy to me, oh Easy to me, oh Ay Yeahhhh, yeaaahhhhh [Hook 1: Savan DePaul] (2x) Balance between facile and abstruse shit Either way it’s entropy if straightforward or convoluted Balance out all of this music Now you all can write on the page for my amusement [Outro] My amusement Write on the page for my amusement My amusement Write on the page for my amusement So simple, yet so difficult So simple, yet so difficult

about

SOLO ALBUM #2. SOLO PROJECT #9.

My latest album. All production handled by me, additional production and guest verses marked where applicable.

An album about my art, my life, my insecurities, my problems, and my feelings on this insane world I call home. About the opposition I face (both external and internal) as well as the struggle to survive as a black musician with Asperger's syndrome living in a crazy world. It's me being me in the best way possible. This album is weird. It's strange. It's zany. It's quirky. But that's me.

Exploring lots of topics, with a heavy focus on the mental state of Savan DePaul. I think I've accomplished that by weaving these messages through some of the weirdest and most diverse psychedelic trip hop/electrorap beats I've ever made.

It's been one hell of a journey.
Cheers.
